Hello, my name is Greg Dyk and I am the pastor at Stephenville CRC. My roots started in Minnesota as a farmer's son. My journey to ministry was not normal. I dropped out of college after 2 years to become a farmer. 10 years later, I left the farm and bought a grocery store. Finally, after wrestling with God for 15 years, I submitted to God's call to ministry. After my graduation from Calvin Theological Seminary, I have served churches in Iowa, Michigan, and currently in Texas. My wife Kay has been at my side as my loving and supportive partner the entire time. We have 4 children, 3 of them are married and we are blessed to be grandparents to 5 grandchildren.
I enjoy having conversations about nearly all sports, farming, and life. I collect toy John Deere tractors, I have several bicycles that I don't ride enough, and I love studying and sharing what God has to say in His Word about day-to-day life. So if you have ever wanted to have a conversation, get rid of a problem, or share a joy, feel free to stop in or call any time. If you like coffee, we can share a cup while we talk. Oh, and FYI, God will be joining us as well. I look forward to my next conversation!
