Monthly Capital Campaign: The June capital campaign is for Partners Worldwide. Partners Worldwide is a Christian response to poverty that seeks to end extreme poverty through job creation and business development in the poorest parts of the world. 80% of the poor live in rural areas, and much of the work that Partners Worldwide does is to connect very poor small-holder farmers to quality inputs, biblically based training, microloans, markets, and technology, so they can lift their families and communities out of poverty. On Sunday, June 8th, Ray Middel from Partners Worldwide will share more on the transformative impact in more than 30 countries around the world. We will take the offering in support of Partners on Sunday, June 28th.
SERVE Stephenville Needed Items – As a reminder, we have a board set up by the member boxes with items that are needed for the different aspects of SERVE Stephenville. If you’d like to donate any items, please bring them back to the church by next Sunday, June 14th.
Church Mailboxes – Please remember to check and clean out your member boxes this week. We will be using them for the SERVE participants, so anything left behind after today will be put in the recycle box.
New Online Giving Option – We are pleased to announce that we will now be utilizing Tithe.ly as an option for online giving. This platform provides a convenient and secure way to contribute to the ongoing ministry of our church. An email was sent out this week with more information on how to use this service. You can also scan the QR code below to give digitally.
Hymn Sing – You are invited this Sunday evening at 6:00 pm to Audrey Veldhuizen’s house for a hymn sing.
SERVE Stephenville – The countdown is on! We are 2 weeks from the arrival of our SERVE Stephenville participants. On Sunday, June 21st, there will be a special SERVE Stephenville Commissioning service with Pastor Ryan Denton leading the morning worship service. We will also have a fellowship potluck with chicken provided as the main dish. Please bring any sides and desserts to share, and be mindful that we will have over 40 extra SERVE guests.
Baptism of Sytze Klaas Vandermeer – We rejoice in the upcoming baptism of Sytze Klaas Vandermeer and give thanks to God for His covenant promises. We will celebrate Sytze’s baptism during worship on Sunday, June 28th. Please join us in praying for Sytze and his family as he grows in faith and follows Christ.
SERVE 2026 – Our youth group will be attending SERVE this year in Niagara Falls, Canada, from July 11th to July 18th. We will have 16 youth and 4 leaders going on this mission trip. Please keep the youth and leaders in your prayers as they prepare for this mission trip!
