News/Updates

Monthly Capital Campaign – The April capital campaign is for Rehoboth Christian School. RCS began in 1903 as a mission post to reach Native Americans with the Gospel. The ministry continues through Christian education with a student population that is 79% Native American. Rehoboth is committed to building students up intellectually, spiritually and emotionally, helping each individual student grow with the hope of entering into or maturing in the Christian faith. We will take the offering for Rehoboth Christian School on Sunday, April 26th.

“Digging Deeper” Opportunity – Pastor Draayer is now offering a time following the worship service to dive deeper and answer any questions about the sermon during fellowship time. If you are interested in this, grab a cup of coffee, then meet in the Pastor's office following the service each week.

Church Service Nursery Announcement – Every week, nursery-aged children (under the age of 4) will be dismissed to the nursery following the children’s message. Secondly, to reduce how often volunteers are scheduled, we are seeking additional nursery volunteers. Even serving once every other month makes a big difference! If you’re willing to help, please let Desiree or Marsha know.

Small Group Leadership Class – Pastor Draayer will be offering another small group leadership training class this Sunday at 6:00 pm in the council room.

New Online Giving Option – We are pleased to announce that we will now be utilizing Tithe.ly as an option for online giving. This platform provides a convenient and secure way to contribute to the ongoing ministry of our church. An email was sent out this week with more information on how to use this service. You can also scan the QR code below to give digitally.

SCA Fine Arts Program – Come support the students of SCA for their yearly Fine Arts program on April 21st at 6:00 pm. “SCS Fine Arts Night is a school-sponsored event that allows students to discover and develop their creativity & talent through singing, sharing scripture, playing an instrument & various class projects. Our heart for students is that they would grow confident in their abilities and that they would use these gifts to glorify God in the community & the local church.”

End of Year Education Programs – Summer break is almost here for our education programs. Our last Wednesday family night will be on May 6th, Sunday school classes will end on May 17th, and Ladies Coffee Break will end on May 21st. Our college-age group will continue to meet once a month throughout the summer. If you would like to be a part of that, talk to Heidi Velsen. If you are interested in teaching in the fall of 2026 in any of our education classes, please reach out to Jennifer Osinga. As we enter the final weeks of our education programs, we want to encourage all students and parents to make attendance a priority. These last sessions are an important time of growth, connection, and finishing strong together. Our teachers have faithfully dedicated their time, energy, and prayer into preparing meaningful lessons each week. One of the greatest ways we can support and encourage them is through consistent attendance and participation. Let’s commit to being present, engaged, and appreciative as we wrap up this season. Your presence makes a difference, not only in your own family, but in the life of our church community.

SERVE Stephenville – SERVE Stephenville is 10 weeks away! Please be in prayer for the SERVE host team as they finalize plans for this summer’s mission trip and for the individuals who will be traveling to Stephenville in June. There will be a host team meeting at the church on April 28th.

SERVE 2026 – Our youth group will be attending SERVE this year in Niagara Falls, Canada from July 11th to July 18th. We will have 16 youth and 4 leaders going on this mission trip. Please keep the youth and leaders in your prayers over the next few months as they prepare for this mission trip!
